The focus of my professional inquiry is to provide support to teachers and New Teacher Interns through coaching and offering professional development on various matters related to teaching and learning which is ultimately the role of the IB Curriculum Coordinator. My professional inquiry has many facets but focuses on Approaches to Teaching skills (IB, 2020)
Ongoing feedback and reflection from the Director of Professional Growth and Curricular Collaboration
I invite the director of professional Growth and curricular collaboration to Grade Level meetings and then we reflect and set goals. My main goal for the first semester was to ensure that all members of the team were involved in the collaboration. Some strategies that I used included preparing team members beforehand.
Workshops
As an IB Workshop Leader, I have been creating in-house workshops that are specific to needs of the teachers
